Watching your kids grow into adulthood is somewhat exciting but mostly scarey! Everyone told me that they will grow up fast.. but you don't believe it until you are living it. Riding while Evan is driving was frightening at first, but I have become a better "coach". I think as parents we need to trust them to make good choices. It's hard to let go. Both of our oldest kids will be, fingers crossed, getting there license in October. They are starting a new phase in their life. We remember that feeling of freedom...so we will have to take a deep breath and hold on for the "ride"!
