Fathers Day...

We had a D E L I G H T F U L day with the fathers here...a day of sangria, talking, hanging out in the porch, in the garden, on the deck playing Jenga.  We loved having Papa, GJ, Jeremy and Nana here!  We cooked out and laughed a lot.  It was really a great day!

You're right...Papa is wise and patient and very handy!  He's a great dad and a great Papa Pete. 

Jeremy is wise and kind and full of stories.  He is also a great dad and grandfather...just don't call him Grandpa!!!!

And, Chris...the Dad of Emma and Peter.  I could not ask or wish for a better one!!!  They adore him and he lives for them.

Lots of love here.  Wish you all had been here.  I love it that Steve gets such a hoot out of Jeremy!!!  "The Killer of Flad Avenue"!!!!!

Ahhhh yes, the K fam....disgusting.  Hate to not argue here, but you are RIGHT...it's all about money and selling their souls.  Emma watches, therefore, sometimes I see it too.  Lord Disick is the only funny one on the show...and why he stays I don't know.  Oh yes...the MONEY!  Rob is just sad, ignored and abused....just like Bruce.  Not gonna waste another paragraph on them.  ICK.

I have watched parts of their show when I am bored, and then quickly change it, thinking why I am watching this and glorifying these idiots! Yes, we are talking about them right now and wasting our time on them, but its worth it.

The Mother is the worst! She is basically selling her kids, no matter how bad it gets. She will do anything for a dime. Notice how we have not heard the name of Kim's baby yet....calculated...waiting for the right time and the right dollar. It is really sad. Their lives are all about making money. What she doesn't know, is that she thinks she is doing a great job, but she is really doing a disservice.

On a good note....I think Chris, the ex of Kim is so lucky not to be married to Kim anymore! You dodged a bullet buddy!

Happy Father's Day to our great Dad! This is a perfect picture of him because one, is has a Pepsi One in his hand, two, he wearing his favorite orange shirt, and three, he is in shorts. The man hates pants now that he is a Floridian. 

He has always been a great Dad. He knows what he likes and has passion for a lot of things. He taught me to be handy, patient and wise. I can say when we get together there are many laughs and good times! Happy Father's Day Dad! I love you!

Have fun celebrating tomorrow with him in Madison. Happy Birthday also Dad on Monday!!

Sissy you need to come back to my house for a Pinterest weekend with Emmy. We could make Pinterest recipes, jewelry and crafts all weekend!! Wouldn't that be fun!

time for summer drinks!

I love the look of the Sangria, but do not love the taste. I think its the wine that turns me off. I am loving the looks of this Mojito. Sugar turns me on...:( Yes, Pinterest recipe!

I am going to start back with my Sunday Night dinner. Everyone gets a chance to pick the meal they want made, then they help me make it for dinner. Sunday seems to be a good night, usually everyone is home. I told Evan when he is at the U he needs to come home every once in awhile for Sunday dinner. We will see!

Today is a beautiful day! First in June! I am loving it! Doors open, breeze coming in. I am taking Lily to the pool for the first time tonight. LOVE, Love, love summer!!!

Filling our dance card for summer...

I love sangria and this looks delicious!  Planning on making it for the four grandparents on Sunday/Fathers Day.  We are so looking forward to Jeremy, Nana, Papa and GJ being here for the day...all together!  It's rare that we get the 8 of us together and I like it when it happens.  My kids are so lucky to have all of their grandparents...yours too!  It's supposed to be sunny so it will be a great day on the porch and playing life size (!) Jenga.

Got organized last week and have evenings set up with three different couples over the next month or so...time to entertain and make these yummy Pinterest recipes!

Loving summer, although we could use a little less rain!  Just mowed and everything looks so pretty and fresh!

Well, sissy....I think if she is going to unfriend you on facebook, that is her problem. Just because you voice your opinion once...does not mean its acceptable. She is the one who will feel embarrassed. Believe me, she will. I would go to book club and just see what happens. You could always take her aside, be the bigger person, and say "I hope you are not mad at me". Leave it at that. 

I have unfriended people and felt really dumb after. And then done even the worse thing and befriended them again. OMG. Facebook is so retarded that way....it really is. Steve always says..." I will never get on facebook. It's just a competition, to see who is doing what, how great someone is or to show off", That's true, but just like Pinterest, I go on it everyday :)

I am up for going to the park for the 4th! Leave it up to us Mom...we can organize it! I know the worst part is trying to find a table or holding it....so I can go there early and hang out. We don't need anything hot. We can have a mini grill....someone must have one, Nano?, and do hotdogs and brats. We can bring salads and games. As long as its not raining...sounds like a plan! Email Nano...

Fun Times at Evan's Graduation Party!! Thanks for all the help Sissy!! Loved having you here! I can't believe he is off to college. :)

I was very impressed with the chicken from Cub Foods! Also I thought the Caprese Pasta Salad was so yummy as well as your Texas Caviar!!  The chocolate table favorites were chocolate covered oreos, mini smores and your brownies!! Yum!!

Now what am I going to do....no planning, painting or looking for recipes and ideas on pinterest!!!
