movies, ducks and pinners wrist

We're going to watch Argo this weekend...can't wait.

Saw Lincoln and LOVED it!

Saw Life of Pi...thought it was very stressful to watch, but beautiful.

I actually don't care about the Oscars, or any other "award" show...self absorbed Hollywood getting together to pat themselves on their backs...who cares?!!  They are uneducated actors.  How about awards shows for parents that work two jobs, raise their own children, clean their own houses, put on their own make up (if they have time), mow their own lawns, shovel snow, take care of elderly parents and never have enough money for anything but bills?!

Confession, my new guilty pleasure is Duck Dynasty...can't get enough of those boys!  Good family values!

Saw your recipe on Pinterest!  Pinterest is endless beauty...I have learned so much, however, I am certain I am starting to suffer from pinners wrist!!!!  oxoxo, H.

oscar movies- in 3 sentences

Amour
Sad. Growing old sucks. Love lasts.

Life of Pi
Beautiful scenery. Don't save the lion. Good ending.

Lincoln
Great acting. We know how is ends. Dreary.

Django Unchained
Bloody. Bloody. Bloody.

Argo
Argo F Yourself. Well done. We know the ending.

Les Mis
Love Hugh. Anne was annoying. Singing got old.

Dirty white Keds girls...

My oldest and one of my dearest friends, Kelly (she knows EVERYTHING about me), once said to me, as I was lamenting and crying about my ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend, "she's a dirty white Keds kind of girl."  I remember asking her what she meant by that and her response was something along the lines of...she is not like us...she has no problem going after someone's boyfriend, she has no class and there is not a whole lot to her and any guy who wants to date her is a fool.  That phrase has stuck with me for 25 years.

Things that make you go hmmmm...H.  oxoxo

Day 5 and Day 6

Well Day 5 was something I was really looking forward to....turkey, chicken and tomatoes. WOW, after a few bites of each, they didn't taste so great. I finally realized at that moment what this cleanse does to you..... IT MAKES YOU NOT WANT ANY FOOD!!!! That's how you lose weight, nothing taste good or sounds good. The only thing that sounds good is something sweet.  Made it through the day...one roasted chicken later and a 1/2 lb of turkey.

Day 6
By now this is getting really old. Kind of almost getting mad about it now. But weighed myself this morning - DOWN 8 lbs. The lowest I have weighed in probably 3 years!!!! I have lost 46 lbs since Sept. I can't wait to hit 50, and keep going! Today is turkey, chicken and veggies. Like yesterday NOTHING tastes good...not eating turkey for awhile after this.

This cleanse is a test. Can you have mind over matter....can you make it. It was tough, but I feel better and hope it will cut my cravings. Day 7 is supposed to be soup. I don't have the ingredients for it so I am done. I will try to reach my 10 tomorrow. Working out tonight and going for the MOA 5 mile walk tomorrow am.
Sissy, next time..try it...you can do it!
love, k

I agree 100%!!! H.
