King George

We just saw The King's Speech last night.  By far one of the best performances EVER by ANYONE... by Colin Firth.  Makes me (and I am sure thousands of others) want to run out and get my hands on any book about the wonderful King George.  I know very little about him except that I have read over and over that Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret adored their father.  The Queen Mum's portrayal by crazy Helena Bonham Carter lived up to her beloved reputation as well.

It was a bittersweet, lovely story of friendship and I loved it.  I have a soft spot for men and dogs named George.
